Our Mission Our mission at Tree House Childcare (THC) is to…

T - teach children using age appropriate curriculum and materials
H - help families raise healthy children (developmentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually)
C - care for children in a loving and safe learning environment

In our infant program your baby will explore, grow and learn in a safe, nurturing environment. Each child's care is individualized to meet their specific needs and schedule.  The primary caregiver will keep a daily report of feedings, diaper changes and naps.  They will also note any special events that may have happened that day such as making progress during tummy time, or learning to sit up on their own.

Developmental Goals for the Infant Program:

  • Develops a sense of trust and attachment
  • Language development through singing, cooing and playing
  • Development of small and large motor skills by learning to control movements
  • Exploration of their environment

Our toddlers program allows the child to enjoy hands-on exploration and social interaction in a safe, nurturing environment. We promote healthy brain development through positive relationships between the child and their primary care giver.  By fostering these healthy relationships it allows the child to build their self-esteem.

Here are some milestones you can expect to see from your child during this time:

  • Climbing
  • Running
  • Potty training
  • Gaining independence
  • Forming simple sentences
  • Learning empathy

All day Preschool

This program is tailored to fit the needs of the parents who need all day care but would still like their child to participate in a preschool environment.

Preschoolers have a vast capacity for learning. Much of this learning process takes place by exploring the environment around them.  Our Preschool Essentials curriculum provides a variety of hands on learning experiences through interaction with peers in large and small groups. The materials for these activities are carefully selected to further engage, guide and motivate children to learn so they may have meaningful experiences.

Some of the milestones for Preschoolers:

  • Plays with peers with minimal conflict.
  • Separates from parents without reluctance.
  • Differentiates between fact and fantasy.
  • Sort by color
  • Patterns using two objects.
  • Classifies objects by categories.
